Wetangula Calls on drafters of BBI report to ensure it addresses challenges of registration of persons along the frontier counties.

Party leader Senator Moses Wetangula has called on drafters of revised BBI report to ensure it addresses challenges of registration of persons along the frontier counties.

Speaking in Matayos Constituency, Busia county during the Burial of the late John Melti Okinda, the Bungoma senator proposed removal of bottle necks that have for several years hindered issuance of National identity cards in the border counties.

He raised concern over the increasing number of residents in the said areas without registration documents despite surpassing the legal age of attainment of the IDs.

Wetangula challenged the political elites to uphold unity witnessed during the national mourning period of the late retired President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi.
